smoker's upper house

a couple of days ago, while visiting a good friend in quezon city, i saw in the news that some of the senators are ranting about their collegues smoking inside their building, which by the way, is illegal.

law makers breaking the law in their own house. hmmm... makes one think of what kind of mind set our leaders are in, and of course the people who put them there.

then came the segment when these senators were intervied. they were asked to explain/comment on what was being said about them. what did they say? "well, somebody else did already... so i can do it too." "ok, i'll just smoke outside then." (actually this is just a paraphrase since i dont recall what was said but it is to that effect).

Senators Biazon, Revilla Jr. , Lapid, John Osmeña, and Estrada (the one with the mustache).
