bagong buhay (kaya?)

man, It's good to put two of my books back to the shelf again. Hightime that I read two new ones. One's an autobiography of Gabriel Garcia Marquez (the first of three i think) and the other's about war torn singapore during world war II.

so what's new? a lot of things. never did i buy so much stuff in my life, for me and for others. i guess i have to contemplate again on the christmas season being commercialized.

let's see, well, i gave all those gifts not for the habit or the need to give them, but to make them feel happy, to make them feel loved. Jesus did this to me so i guess im just channeling this love through me. i hope these people felt this way.

but not all the things that are new are material. there's a renewed positive outlook in life. new prospects. business proposals. new dreams. this time a bit more grounded but my arrows are still pointed there. to the ultimate dream.

i dream of saving money. i dream of studying violin and the harmonica. i dream of mastering the art of dancing swing and tango. i dream of forming a cool music group. i dream of writing more poems and songs. i dream of finishing the whole set of robert jordan's wheel of time this year (uh-huh). i dream still of new zealand. i dream of painting. i dream of making a cool home for somebody. i dream of designing a cool house for anybody. i dream of reaching out to you.

anyway, tomorrow, i'll start by watching ocean's twelve. I think i'll be enjoying this one.
