a delayed sunset

no. not today. just the posting of this photo. it has long been due (see the beach) but i just received the photo. it was one of the most spectacular sunsets last year. there was some mist literally floating in the air just like the auroras in the north pole.

just beautiful. i love it. i love you. and my ideal is my only good. everything may pass, but only unity will remain.

new sunset

gosh... just when the day is full and you go home to find this outside the house... the very first clear one this year.

surprisingly, the moon is shining so bright tonight. outside it is like having a 10W daylight from afar... with the occassional clouds/fog, it dims a bit, 5W nalang softone pa hahaha.... and the ever present orion is there telling me what month it is during the year.

music would be without me by clair marlo. but we need to change the pronouns... sa chorus lang :-)

"... without you how can i live... without you.... my world is gone, i cant carry on without you..."

ps. if you notice the pencil tip of the electric post, it is due to a lightning strike about 10 years ago... electric posts turning to lightning rods. tsk...

opportunity

hi guys, the wife of Sir Stanley contacted me asking for somebody for their office. maybe you would know somebody to refer to her, or you could be the one!

-preferrably male
-preferrably with experience in interiors, commercial and institutional projects
-versatile (can do planning, drafting, detailing)
-not necessarily licensed
-for immediate hiring (by the 15th of January if possible, if not by next month)

she told me that a lot of projects are coming in so for those seeking lots of pre-board experience, this might be good. the compensation would also depend on the applicant's experience.

just email your CV to dcarch@asiatech.ph with your sample works

the firm is

Glück in jemanden verliebt sein

it feels like Easter but it is just the end of Christmas!
just like what the Easter song goes...

"... darkness is gone forever, darkness is gone forever!"

----

i woke up very early this morning, quite unusual for me since i never get up before 8am for about 6 months now. lalo na on sundays because i normally get up by 9.30am again lalo na if i sleep later than 12 midnight. it is refreshing. the fog is thick and the wind is strong outside but who cares? i feel good. so i got up prepared breakfast for everyone, brewed some fresh coffee, set-up the table, all the works.

it just feels like the battery's new. recharged. like nothing can stop me now. :-)

how i wish everyone in the world can be this happy. no complaints no matter how much suffering one can have. if everyone in the world would have the peace i am experiencing now, my prayer of having world peace is granted!

how long im going to stay up like this? as long as it takes. :-) it doesn't matter. only the present moment matters!

it is 7.30 now. i wonder what time i would wake up my familyhood?

hmm... maybe later. sige (hihi) i'll just have my morning walk first!

cheers to you lot! wish you all life, happiness and peace.

YES!!!

Biker's Prayer

lifted from the Firefly Brigade Mailgroup:

As we bike through the city streets, the highways and mountain trails

Protect us Lord from
spills and crashes
trucks and cars whose drivers do not recognize our right to use the roads
dogs who like to bite our shapely legs
potholes, cracks and sharp objects that flatten our tires
thieves and bikenappers who lust after our bikes
the rains and thunders
and all kind of nasty accidents.
Give us the energy and strength
to wake up in the morning and go for a bike ride
to keep us from bonking
to ride up the hills and mountains
to reach our destination.
Grant us the courage
to descend rapidly down the hills
to ride through the rain
to join and finish races even if we know we will never win.
May we experience the joy and the ecstasy
as we are moved by the beauty of nature
as the sun and the wind caress our face
as we feel one with the bike and the road and forget about the time
as we get in touch with the child within us
as we enjoy each others’ company
as we feel we could bike forever.
May we continue biking even as we grow old and up to the day we die.
And may you allow us to continue biking in heaven, forever and ever.

Amen!
